Toer de Geuze on May 1st 2011

On Sunday May 1st 2011, nine members of the High Council for Artisanal Lambic Beers (HORAL) open their doors to the public from 10h to 17h . There are continuously guided tours during this 8th edition of the Toer de Geuze. Of course you can enjoy at the breweries a glass of Lambic, Gueuze, Kriek, framboise lambic and other beer. At the breweries, you will be able to enjoy special animation as well that day.

You can visit one or more participating breweries. Admission is free. Reservations are not necessary unless you want a place at one of the HORAL buses.

Of course, you can do the Toer de Geuze with the car or the bike as well. Geuze and other beers are brewed with love. So drink them with intelligence and drive carefully.

At Oud Beersel following activities are organized during the Tour de Geuze 2011:
• For the children: Inflatable castle and make-up stand
• Special effects by Ducrosfx
• Burgundian food: Pig on the spit marinated with lambic beer and sandwiches with quality meat of farm Cuvry; stew with Oude Geuze Oud Beersel and vol au vent prepared by Boelekewis.
• Free brewery tour with a taste of lambic offered
• Musical accompaniment by the local brass band
• Sales of collection bottles
• Bar with beers from Oud Beersel
• Paintball one to one
